    open the internet explorer.
go to the tools menu select the internet option tab.
in the general tab click on the history select the delete tab click on OK.
also delete the cookies and temp files from the internet explorer.
you can get the history as open the internet explorer.
press the ctrl+h from the keyboard and select the history and delete it.

On your IE menu bar, click on tools which will display a drop down menu, then click on internet options. It will open up a box where you can delete browsing history. If you’re running Vista, it will also give you the option of deleting cookies, Temporary Internet files, Form data, passwords and history.

I know what u r saying but u have to repeat opening IE options but some different steps::
    1. First of all, delete all temporary fies, under temp orary internet files, click Settings.
    2. There will be a bar ” Amount of Disk Space to use “, set it to least.
    Close settings.
    3. Then at last but not at least, under History there will be a option “Days to keep Web Pages in History” , set it to 0.
    4. Click Apply, the Ok.
    And, u r donw.

extra, internet options, delete, get a nice pop-up window and select what you want to delete.
But worms cant be deleted by deleting the history. You have to scan for them and remove them manually/via the scan

Personally i use Gary utilities , its free, cleans up all your system, has a spyware checker and you can choose which browser you want the history deleted from. Never had a problem with it , been using it for 2 years!

You could download, CCleaner. Formally known as Crap Cleaner, this is an awesome utility that clears your history, and temporary files, also cleans your registry, always been good to me. Give it a go.

Get CCleaner, it’ll do that, AND clear your cookies as well (that’s where adware and malware tends to show up.), and also clear up your system at the same time!
    Find it here:http://www.ccleaner.com/
