First aid counts towards your secondary profession slots.First aid is not restricted to any specific class or race.Every player should opt for first aid. Why you might want know? Because if you have the ability to heal you can save mana and use first aid to heal wounds or obviously heal yourself if you have no healing abilities. You can also heal other WoW players or maybe an injured pet.

When you first start out with first aid you are going to need to loot corpses of humanoids for the cloth to create the bandages to heal yourself. You will also be able to make anti-venoms from venom sacs to heal poison attacks.First aid is not a big gold maker but it will aid you very much during the gameplay.

The skill level required and effects for anti-venoms

Anti-Venom skill level 80 (Cure poisons up to level 25)
Strong Anti-Venom skill level 130 (Cure poisons up to level 35)
Powerful Anti-Venom skill level 300 (Cure poisons up to level 60)
